On the 16th of February 2023, I had the privilege of attending a Yoga TTC program that commenced at 4:00 pm. I was initially taken aback when the class began with a deeply relaxing meditation, which transported my mind to a state of complete focus on the instructor's words with no other distractions.
As the class progressed, I experienced a sense of detachment from the physical world, and it felt like the instructor was not even present in the room. The sensation of downward movement was intense, and within minutes, I was more relaxed than I had ever felt before, even with medication.
During the class, I became aware of a tightness and hardness in my posterior chain, from my lower gluteus, all the way through my hamstrings and calves to my large toe. The sensation felt tense, tight, and weak.
The most memorable part of the class for me was the Nidra meditation, which took me on an unforgettable journey. I experienced a sensation where all the power from my body was retracted towards the center of my skull, with a tense feeling in the nasal bridge. It felt like all of my cells had slowly retracted back into my skull, leaving me feeling weightless and free.
When I emerged from the meditation, it felt like I was no longer inside the same body that had started the class. The experience had left me feeling lighter, more energized, and deeply connected to my inner self.
In conclusion, the Yoga TTC program was a transformative experience for me. The deeply relaxing meditation and physical practice helped me release tension and connect with my inner self in a way that I had never experienced before. The Nidra meditation was particularly powerful, leaving a lasting impression on me. I left the class feeling centered, energized, and more connected, and I am looking forward to continuing my practice and exploring the transformative power of yoga.

I came to home of Light Yoga to see Raju after suffering lower back pain for 4 years or more. Having seen many doctors in this time I though I would always feel uncomfortable. After two days with Raju I begin to feel a vast improvement, with the guidance and knowledge of Raju. I feel now that my back problems will eventually begin to cease. I have to thank Raju for his kindness and his understanding. I will continue to do as he instructed me to do. I feel positive about having no pain with the poses and exercises in the future.

Before joining Home of Light, I had practiced yoga for many years at various studios in Bangkok. At that time, I treated yoga as sports. I realize what yoga really is after practicing at Home of Light and learning from the Master who has gained direct knowledge from gurus of traditional yoga. I had concentration problem. My arm was hurt and many doctors concluded that it can only be cured by operation. I never had a good sleep. My digestive system did not function properly. I didn’t believe in meditation. And I thought Yoga was just an exercise. Then one day, I practiced traditional yoga with Master Raju by chance. I believe I am fortune to have that chance. At the beginning, I told master Raju about the above problems and did not expect that they would be fixed through yoga. I don’t want to say that it was a miracle. After some classes, I experienced a deep sleep, without waking up in the middle of the night. Then I started to see Yoga from a different angle. Since it is traditional yoga (Indian Yoga), I decided to focus more on my practice and try meditation. After a few months of practice, my arm was fixed. Disturbing noise at my work has faded away, not because it has been stopped but because my concentration power is better. I found that traditional yoga is not just an exercise. It triggers the healing process adjusting our inner body so that it works in harmony with the nature. The continuing practice of traditional yoga has improved my daily life and I become more efficient in work. It’s worth to try.

I started doing yoga 10 years ago. But the real yoga journey has started here, with Master Raju, Home of Light.
My first yoga class was in a studio located in the center of Bangkok. My purposes were just to do exercise after work and also to avoid traffic during rush hours before commuting back home. It was amazing that I fell in love with yoga since my first trial. I didn’t know much about yoga but every time I stepped into yoga classes, I felt captivated and couldn’t stop. I was curious and eager to know more about yoga but nowhere could satisfy me. I kept searching for “the real yoga” until one day, I did yoga Nidra with Master Raju that made me aware of something inside. After the class, I decided to talk with him....this is the beginning of my real yoga journey.
Master Raju has opened my eyes to real yoga world. Through his TTC courses, guide books, and real experience at Indian Ashram, I understand and get closer to a yogic life. I feel more confident with asana practice as I know what suits my body and how to perform correctly without hurting myself. Besides my body, my mind becomes calm and more relaxed than ever. I have gained more knowledge about yoga that I don't know before. Getting to learn Indian traditional yoga and the way of meditation have improved my awareness in daily life, non-attachment to external things and knowledge to give or contribute energy to others. First of all, I have to say "thank you" for sharing your knowledge to me: 3 months that we spent our time together to the learn the real yoga. At first, I thought Yoga is only Asana and Pranayama. I don't know yoga is about to live peacefully and blissfully until I have learnt from Raju. I very much enjoyed attending the classes, although sometimes they started at 7am (very early for me). Moreover, I can feel that my classmates are so nice. I love to spend the weekends with them to learn and to talk together. I think I am so lucky and have decided correctly to spend my 3 months with them instead of wasting my time doing nothing at home. After the course, I apply what I learnt from the course in my real life, and I can feel that my life is easier.
